クライスラー、破産法適用申請

米自動車大手のクライスラーは30日、米連邦破産法11条の適用を、ニューヨーク市の破産裁判所に申請したと発表しました。同時に、イタリア自動車大手のフィアットと提携することで合意したことも明らかにしました。これを受けて、米国・カナダ両政府は計105億ドルを拠出し、再建を全面的に支援することを決めました。
